Any chance of an RSS feed so we don't have to log on to the forum when an item is added?

Or is there one for the forum already and I have just not spotted it?

I'm working on that one right now actually Wink You can use any URL of those patterns. Here's one:

http://www.thehazymind.com/smf/index.php?action=.xml;type=rss;limit=20

That's what I'll be using for the main icon one Smiley

Sorry about all the screwed up stuff happening right now. I am messing with template files big time to fit all the rss feeds in there and I apparently missed an /> somewhere Smiley

lol,

no worries, you might want to set the border=0 to some of the images on the forum, I am getting lovely blue link boxes around them now.

The one for the whole forum is top left next to the small title (with the folders). Not sure about the log in log out situation

Mike,

The new child board is great, and I notice that it can't be seen by none members, which again I think is good because it then prompts people to join, but as it is a private board there is no RSS feed for it, can we have one that can only be accessed from inside the board so that only members have access to it?

Is this possible?

Not sure, I haven't ever set up a password for an RSS feed before, I'll have to look into it.

Don't know if we need a password for it, just only have the link accessible from the child board.

I suppose you might get people just join for the feed and then leave.

The problem is that the forum stores your login in a session and that has to carry over dont know if thats possible with RSS though, I only build basic exporters and readers in PHP
