The next Visual Studio, codename 'Orcas' has been released as a CTP by Microsoft for everyone to try out. Weighing in at over 4gb its a Virtual Machine setup that is to be used in conjunction with Virtual PC 2004 or the newer one.
Unfortunately that means at this time there is no Vista support.
This provides a safe way to use the new program and try out its features like C#3.0 and LINQ.
