As I have been working with XNA (when I can) for the last few months, I already am set up with VC#express and XNA GSE.  What i am wondering now is if it's okay to load the DirectX SDK on top of that?

I plan to start trying to learn many of the great diagnostic tools in the SDK, but I just want to make sure it's okay to install it at this point... just wondering if any of you have.

Thanks!

Doesnt matter when you install it. The SDK has no link to GSE, the XNA dlls are completely seperate. Although I would suggest you do keep updating the SDK as they seem to be making some optimisations and changes to the XACT tool, which is only updated in the SDK.

So put simply, installl it however you want.
