Some of you may already know about this and I am a biut late in posting this, but for those who do not know here it is.
As of the 6th of October, the Managed DirectX 2.0 Beta will expire.

Adieu, Manager DirectX 2.0

That means that Microsoft is officially saying goodbye to Manged DirectX 2.0 which has been "On Hold" for the past coupld of months.
All current projects using MDX 2.0 must be either converted to MDX1.1 or XNA.

I say Goodbye MDX1.1, it was fun whilst it lasted.

I would definately rather continue writing the current engine in the new XNA than go back again to MDX1.1, and I'm positive the general consensus on this issue will agree.
